Rimba and Rusa

Stepped into Rimba & Rusa, a newly opened cafe in Sunway Nexis Kota Damansara, we felt closer to the nature, yet not entirely. The name rimba, which means forest in english does tell something about the environment, judging from the countless pots of green plants, at almost every corner of Rimba & Rusa, both inside and outside.

its opened by the same owner as wondermilk but it has a different concept. Wondermilk is more of a cupcake + milk oriented cafe (*though they have dishes like salad, pasta, sandwiches, and burger) while Rimba and Rusa consists mostly Western food, with a twist of modern fusion by incorporating Mediterranean, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Italian and local favourites. 

Rimba and Rusa is a definitely an insta worthy cafe as it's heavily decorated with cute chairs and tables. It's a semi two floors dining area, where the upper section is equipped with mini children playground. Besides general dining, we find Rimba & Rusa a good place ideal for celebrations parties or private gatherings.

fried eggs with fava beans (RM18+), poached eggs with labneh & chilli butter (RM17+) & French toast with streaky beef bacon (RM24+). You can also expect mains like beef ribs with pickled watermelon & cous cous (RM73+) & pan-seared trout with tamarind sauce (RM34+), rounded out by Wondermilk's signature carrot or red velvet cakes (RM12+), plus everything from banoffee pies (RM16+) to sticky date puddings (RM13+).

overall i would recommend people to come here as the ambience is nice and the food was delicious even though i personally didn't like the combination of beef ribs and pickled watermelon but some people like my brother enjoyed it!
