Bazaar Ramadan TTDI

Since its Ramadan, the common tradition would to go to the nearest bazaar and get whatever you can for break fasting. These bazaar's are cheap and gives a variety to choose from. They don't just sell food but clothing & toys as well. Many locals love coming on Sundays because the Pasar Malam and Bazaar Ramadan join business with each other for a night.

Last Sunday, I went to the nearest Bazaar at TTDI (sadly ttdi is the nearest to me since i live in a middle of nowhere), which I parked 1km away from due to the massive crowd that were present.

The atmosphere was very loud but vibes were good. Although, there were many people pushing and not looking where they're walking, which is not very good since you're in a crowded area. Some were also impatient whilst waiting for their food but not to a point were they would cut queues.

I had multiple to choose from and they looked freaking delicious as i was fasting!

This is the famous Ayam Percik that is a best seller at any bazaars (RM5)

The varieties of drinks to choose from was definitely worth the wait since the line was longer than Kim's marriage with Kris (lol) (RM2.00 for a cup and RM3.00 for a bag)

This was the first time i encountered this chicken stall since they just opened and it was AMAZING

(Chicken with cheese for RM6)

This stall had a creative mix with putting kebab on a stick. It looked scrumptious but was also spicy, which i'm not very fond of so i didn't get any.

This is also one of the famous foods in the bazaar called Putu Mayam. Lines were so long till they had to work overtime even during break fasting. Though it was indeed worth it.

These bazaars also sold fresh fruits and vegetables. They would also offer you juices and such.
This is the Apam Balik stall which is my personal favorite. I am obsessed with this because its like a mini pancake with corn & nuts. You can ask for the crispy one or the soft one for only RM3
They even have other flavors such as coconut with raisins.

The traditional Raya food which you can find in any bazaar

As the day was getting darker and the crowd was getting lesser, it was a sign for us to go home and prepare our food to break our fast. Usually, I would only go to Bazaars to get my hands on my favorite Apam Balik but this time round I decided to add a little more :)

I bought Cincau and Soya Bean for drinks while for food I got the Ayam Percik, Kebab Pita, Popiah Basah, Apam balik Biasa, Apam Balik Kelapa, Murtabak Ayam and Uncle Bob's chicken.

I could consider this meal one of the best ones but that would be unfair to all my other great meals which are yet to come :D There is no doubt that bazaar Ramadans are one of the best things about this holy month for us Muslims and its great that not only Muslims buy these delicious bites but even Chinese, Indians and other ethnics.

The only things that would be an issue to go is parking spots. The place is so crowded that shop lot roads are congested. Some might even be stuck in the jam till buka time. Also, taking care of your belongings is a top priority if you decide to go. In crowded places like this, it gives the theft more advantage to pick pocket you. To put it in a nutshell, everyone needs to break their Ramadan Bazaar virginity at least once in their lifetime :)
